Extranets

An extranet allows sharing part of your business's information or operations with suppliers, vendors, partners, customers or other businesses.

Your Typo3 website can be easily converted to offer Extranet functionality by the addition of the front-end users module, which restricts some areas of the website for "members only".

You can use an extranet to:

  • Share product catalogs exclusively with wholesalers or those "in the trade"
  • Allow registered members to place orders on your website
  • Publish news for the registered members of the extranet only
  • Send newletters to the registered members of the extranet
  • Provide or access services provided by one company to a group of other companies
  • Share news of common interest exclusively with partner companies
